Beautiful Sunny Day

What a beautiful day! It’s about 79 degrees Sunny afternoon. I am sitting here in a rocking chair reading a book called “College Girl” by Patricia Weit. I wouldn’t ask for a prefect day for relaxing on a paddler, or working in the garden, or go the beach mall. Finally Spring is here I am looking forward to enjoying the weather weekend.

Peace School

Wow! I almost forgot I had a blog. Well, I have been very busy trying to promote Peace School in Uganda. This is Nursery and Primary School is located in Makindye, 15 minutes from the capital city Kampala.
MJ, CEO of AHEAD Energy and Nate Undergraduate student at University of Rochester went to Uganda for 10 days February 8-18th, 2009 to visit Peace School. During their visit it became very clear to them that Peace School had a critical and urgent need to upgrade their cooking facilities. AHEAD Energy launched a project to upgrade the cooking facilities at Peace School. They built two Rocket stoves which can use firewood or charcoal. AHEAD Energy is hoping in the near future to install biodigester at Peace School in order they will be able to use gas.
Currently, Peace School is using these two modern Rocket stoves. The stoves are safe to use, clean, and cook faster. Peace School is free from harmful smoke and pollutants. Long Live! AHEAD Energy guys you have restored hope in the lives of young and old in this community.
