Tuesday nights are fun. Carol brings all the energy students need. Tonight, I am training community service students. Colin just emailed me he won’t be in tonight he has a class project due tomorrow. Oh guess who is working Jason, Nate, Katrina, and Fritz who all have a lot of energy. We’re extremely busy due to midterm exams.

A patron is asking about her missing documents she left by the copier. We have looked all over the library no luck. Jason has checked all trash cans and other copiers. I am not sure I believe she knows where she actually left her documents. However, we will put the word around.

Using Music As a Medicine

Yep you heard me right. I have always used music as a medicine. Any woman should have a CD or tape to play when she's stressed. I have used even used music to calm my kids when they are confined indoors because of illness or weather. When I am working at night I find light jazz energizing. However, when I am cooking I prefer to listen to music from my home, Uganda. Soft rock keeps me moving when I clean my house. While Gospel music help me to relax when I am tired. I love to listen to country music when I drive. There is music for every mood. I think everyone should build a personal collection of musical selections to help calm any situation, collect thoughts, and create energy if needed. I love Music. Students listen to rap and dance music. Some like to listen to the Balkan sounds of Chalga.

Nicholas' Birthday

I certainly had fun today catching up with old friends I hadn't seen for years. We celebrated Nick's 3rd birthday. Janet, my baby sister, is Nicholas' mom. Nick's birthday was October 9th but we celebrated Sunday the 12th when everyone had a day off.

We had every Ugandan food which is known to be health. Main dish was matooke which is made by steamed plantains. You should try it very tasty. Vegetables like peas, beans, sweet potatoes, cassava, rice, millet bread, and yams. Grilled Tilapia ha you don't want to miss this.

We get Nicholas during the weekends. We have fun time with him. We go the Maymont Park, Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, or Three Lake Park. My favorite of the three is Maymont Park; it provides the beauty and opportunity to exercise. The barnyard with animals, the exhibits with other native, mansion, waterfall, and the beautiful gardens everything is awesome. Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens has some cool things. I love the Greenhouse and Christmas display. They have amazing gardens. If you haven’t been to neither one of these parks please make plans and visit. You will be surprised how much fun it is and you’ll enjoy nature and fresh breeze

Sisters

Here are four of the six sisters; MaryLove, Lydia, Janet, and I. We grew up on a farm. We spent a lot time together, reading, playing games, gardening, and knitting etc. Meddy and Passy still live in Uganda but we’re still close to one another. Growing up was sometimes hard but we had fun. We look back and laugh at some of the fights and jokes we had as kids they’re priceless moments.
I am very thankful for my mom for teaching us the strong values of God and keeping us close together. Dad teaching us the strong work ethics to earn what we get. Both my parents valued education and they made sure we got the best one possible. We attended all girls’ boarding schools we had a fabulous time during school. I think about how lucky I am to have such wonderful sisters. We’re very proud of each other. My sisters and I are best friends. I love my sisters!!!!!!

Zoho Writer

Woo! It is incredible to see the different features Zoho Writer has. I have signed up for an account. According, to the features Zoho writer has I will use this software often. since I share documents with my brother. This will be great for him because he doesn't really have to be online. I like the fact that I am able to resize any photo within the document; I think that is cool.
